Nikon D700 – out in the snow

January 10th, 2010

Though I would take my camera out and try and take advantage of the photographic possibilities offered by the recent arctic weather.  all shot at Chorlton waterpark and the meadows.

For the technically minded,  Nikon D700 and 85mm f1.4 af-d or 35mm f2 d, aperture priority +1.5ev exposure compensation for the snow.

Thought that I would also experiment with the manchester wedding landing page for my site.  Any comments gratefully received.

Nikon D700 high speed continuous shooting mode

December 23rd, 2009

Thought I would take advantage of the photographic possibilities offered by the recent weather and test out the D700’s continuous high speed shooting capability.  Subject was one of my usual willing models! I hoped her white hair would offer an interesting blown out effect against the snow.

For the technically minded:

Nikon D700, 85mm f1.4 AF-D, 1/6400s, f1.4, iso 400, +2.0 ev.
